Yavuz Selim Kaçmaz
Economics PhD student at UC Davis
Welcome to my website! I am a third-year PhD student in economics at UC Davis. Before starting my PhD, I completed my BA and MA in economics at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
My research interests fall into two broad areas: international trade and applied microeconomics. In both, I often work in historical settings, using archival data to study questions with contemporary relevance.
